Mimosa’s sweet, floral fragrance is uplifting and energising. On the skin, the absolute soothes, balances and also tones the complexion. The flower’s high concentration of hyaluronic acid also helps to hydrate and firm the skin.

Mimosa absolute is obtained from Acacia decurrens, a tree native to Australia. It grows up to 15 metres and produces very fragrant, small, yellow flowers.

The fragrant, sticky absolute is extracted from the flowers and twig ends by a solvent extraction process. It is sourced from the beautiful Mamora Forest in Morocco where, every year, farmers apply for a government licence which tells them where and how much mimosa they can harvest.
